Trifolium montanum is regarded as in need of supervision. It only grows in Europe and West Asia and cannot be come across in the part of Europe near to the Atlantic. Trifolium montanum requires unfertilized meadows as habitats which are to be mowed once a year. This plant used to be employed for medicinal purposes, although no curing substance has been detected thus far.
